a creamy, nutty, smoky, and mildly spicy salad dressing
Inspired by my many recent trips to Cava during a particularly hectic week, this salad dressing did not disappoint. Its spicy if you want it to be, creamy without being heavy, tangy, earthy, rich, and perfectly balanced. Drizzle it on a grain bowl, as I have been doing, or use it to dress any salad you can come up with. It’ll be great on roasted or even raw vegetables.
If for some reason you’d like to mellow the flavors, stir in a tablespoon or two of olive oil. Sweetness can be adjusted with more or less honey, and heat with the amount of harissa you add. The harissa you choose will make a big difference in the final flavor, so pick your favorite. Mine is the spicy harissa sauce from the brand Mina.
I hope you enjoy!
